just bought a car failing like this, or just happened after 31 years of bliss no problems like it. no COUNTY TOLD ON THIS WORLD WIDE WEB, FORUM. SORRY CARS ARE NOT THE SAME ALL OVER EARTH YET. old 1991 last 91 I restored had 15 serious probems. so know them well, too well really Mitsubishi zero almost killed my dad, by 20 ft miss. on CVA WWII battle of Coral Sea. (nasty) I am so lucky to be here, so you'd never see me give them dime ever.GRIN ! ok end rant, short well fix this first headlights suddenly went off head lamps work key off, and is super super easy to fix this simple 1991 design fuse marked HL. fuse blown head lamp switch bad, head lamps high beam fail too??? high beam flasher dead too????? blinkers fast means blinkers feed is shorted. but the hazards say not. seems to me the whole multi function switch is bad. gee are not all 91s like that, most are, now. always fix head lamps bad first. it is childs play simple no BCM brain here to pull out, hair, a fuse, a switch and a lamp I have the schematic for it, seen here but is not free, the best things are not free, due to being more accurate. https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

This is tricky Steve and aggravating to say the least. Some thoughts:

1. How good was the milling, grinding or machining of the cylinder head? Who really knows? Sometimes you get what you pay for.
2. The cylinder head bolts require a very specific bolt down torque. Double check that.
3. Was the gasket an OEM part or aftermarket? Makes a big diofference.
4. Finally, is it really the head gasket joint that's leaking? Look closely. Maybe it's the coolant sensor tap that's leaking.

what is the demensions for the rear window?

you have water/coolant entering the combustion chamber. either the head is cracked or you have blown a head gasket.

It may depend on engine litre size. 4 cylinder shows top pulley for ac belt, needs to be loosened. to release tension. 6 cylinder shows tensioner pulley on mounting bracket for compressor. Loosen the bolt for tensioner pulley to release tension.

Did something seize up and break the belt? You might need to deal with a bigger problem before you just loosen up the tensioner bolt and put a new belt on. Loosen up the tensioner bolt, place the correct belt on, making sure you run it correctly around all the pulleys, then borrow (at OReillys or a similar) the long handled tool, you use to put tension back on the whole pulley system and tighten down the tension bolt. If it was me, I'd go to YouTube to look at a couple of DIY videos on the subject.

Sounds like tire separation. Don't drive with that tire on the truck. Put on the spare and have it checked by a tire shop. Good luck.

The problem may be a cam/crank position sensor that is causing this. Check that the cam shaft is turning ( broken timing belt/chain)

check ignition timing, exhaust system for blockages, fuel pressure ,injector tip condition, blocked air filter. Run the fault codes to check for faulty sensors.

When was it last fully serviced? Its 25 years old? You may need to invest in some TLC for your poor old Mitzi. Good to see its still alive though after 20 + years
