I had something similar with my Honda Accord. apparently turned out that i got my car jumped off a couple of times due to bad battery. That is the reason why it lost signals to the radio. Did you by any chance jump start your car in the past few days ? If that is the case you will have to either take it to the mechanic or jump start it again and keep the radios on for them to start working again. It could be something else. This is something that i experience and thought of sharing.

what do you mean? Is auto open or the key don't work?

Hi! Sounds like the key needs to be coded again, take all relvant details i.e. chassis vin number, Registration document (Title) and key to your local Mercedes Dealership and hopefully they'll rec-code it for youor replace it.

I take it you mean it will not turn the steering lock ?

If so, try turning the steering wheel sharply to the left, and then to the right, whilst operating the ignition key to the start position.

chances are the power steering pump has seen better days and may need replacement. i dont recomend any additives in these systems. if its making noise, there isnt really alot you can do. dont replace the gear box unless there are leaks.

The problem probable is a short to ground on one of ur circuits. when u drive at night u have ur headlights on which forces the alternator to produce more electricity. making it seem normal. or a defective alternator

get it checked on the system at authorised centre to find which sensor which is mal-funtioning
