Chevy cobalt 2006

Hi Mildred, I'm glad to help! Mildred, no matter what type of vehicle were talking about when it comes to dying issues it can be a lot of things causing the problem. If the problem occurs when you come to a stop it could be the "IDLE AIR CONTROL" OR on some vehicles the "EGR VALVE". If the problem occurs while driving done the road it could be wiring problems or connector issues, fuel pump issues, Cam or Crank Sensor issues. Engine Controller issues. You can try tapping on the idle air solenoid and see if the engine raves up and you can also perform a wiring wiggle test on all the wiring with the engine running and see if it dies. You can also tap on the fuel tank and see if it dies. These are a few things you can try to find what the problem is. As you see Mildred, when you get into dying issues it can be very difficult to find the problem. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Mildred.

Why won't my car start? when turning the ignition the lights panel lights up but won't turn over

First thing to check is if you're battery is charged. If it is, check the oil to see if you have oil in the engine that you didn't run the engine tight. Also, you have to check if you're getting power to the starter. With the description you're giving of the problem, it could be a number of things. Very hard to diagnose with the description you're giving.

Accessory power outlets

Did you let a mechanic do any work under the dash? It's easy to miss one little wire that isn't part of any major system. Just tell him to put it back together.

How to reset abs light after installing new brakes

You should not have to unless you somehow messed up a abs sensor or connection. A scan tool would reset it and see which sensor is triggering the light. Also drive it for a day to make sure it doesn't go off by itself. Also check the back of the calipers where the connection is.
