When security light flash truck wont start, put ignition on and wait 10 minute security light will come on solid now it reprogram itseft truck will start, you will need a new key cylinder make it code to your key at the dealer

clutch pack is gone.rebuild or replace

place a voltmeter on battery and start engine look for voltage drop ,if voltage drop 9.5 volts and lower look for starter draw too much current or battery not charge enough hope it helps

throw out bearing is the issue

chevy s-10 have bad connections on the fan motor switch. Take off and clean or replace very easy fix

Check your fuel pressure. 60lbs for the v6 and about 40 for the 4 cyl. You may be getting fuel but a clogged filter will hold it up enough to cause it to stall.

You may have a defective blower motor resistor.

if u are sure ,it doesn't hv PCV,then u hv to check the vent hose,vacuum hose,it might be carbin built up eating the hose.see did they make any oil seperater in the system,it might be block it.try it & see how is it

A good parts counter person might have an idea of what fuel system parts fail such as mass airflow sensors and throttle position sensors. Of course first rule out the fuel filter which on an older S10 I believe was hidden at the front of the engine on the driver's side. Often what the parts a store has in stock is an indicator of what fails.

Check fuses but most likely you will find that the multifunction switch is bad on the steering column

think that's a motor driven door ,not vacuum like the old days,if you listen real close ,key on engine off ,under the dash ,center when you change the switch ,you should hear the motor run,if not,it's most likely the motor ,pricey little things too .
