Remove history from computer

Don't disconnect the battery as that starts it all over again. Starting on page 10 of the attached link is what you want to pay attention to. You have to go through different types of driving and this explains the necessary driving patterns to get the OBDII readiness test to pass first. This only helps if you're failing the readiness test. If you have DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) stored, you need to get them cleared. Many local autoparts stores, such as Oreilly and Autozone carry a scanning tool that can serve to reset the DTC's. Pay attention to see if they're current. If they are, try resetting them, but they'll probably come back. If they do, look into each code. They're often interrelated. Here's the link for the OBDII readiness. Again, start on page 9. http://www.obdclearinghouse.com/documents/newdocuments/toyota/TSB_EG003-02_%28revised%29.pdf

I need to open the trunk of a 2000 Grand Prix. No key and trunk button does not work

Trunk button inside glove box or on a remote? If remote, the remote might just need a new battery. Might be able to unlatch it from inside trunk. The back seat(s) generally fold down for more "trunk" room. Try getting inside from there. You can take to a locksmith or dealer. Otherwise, ruin the lock by shoving a screwdriver in there and turning it forcefully..
