the camshaft position sensor is located behind the harmonice balancer remove balancer and timing cover once removed you will see it u will also have to remove the crank gear and timing belt be sure to reset the timing or mark the gears before removal hope this helps

With my galant it just happened out of nowhere . I opened the trunk with the latch and when i was finished in the trunk ... my trunk will no longer latch. I thought maybe because it is getting colder but never had this problem b4. to take the broken bolt out your going to need a tap and dye kit you can get one at pretty much any auto parts store

It sounds like a timing issue if you bring it to a local garage they can run a full diagnostic on it with their machine if its just an inquiry most places won't charge you to look at it and they can tell you if it is something they can fix quick or if they think its a serious issue

J.B. weld works well you can get it at any auto parts store make sure the area with the crack is clean and dry the application instructions are on the back of the sealants package

The first thing I would check is wiring that connects to the bulb. At the back side of the wiring harness's connector, look for melting and burn marks. This is common condition is easy to remedy. Based on the bulb's part number, you can get a new connector ("pigtail") at any auto parts store. It will have a few inches of wire installed on it. When installing the new part , cut one wire at a time and connect to the new respective wire, before connecting the next new wire. This process will prevent mixing up the wires' positions. If there is no signs of wiring and/or harness-connector damage, checking fuses may help discover your problem. Your owners manual will tell you if the correct fuse is in the cabin or in the engine bay.

If you have white smoke coming out the exhaust its usually a sign of a blown head gasket. I'm willing to bet it got hot and you warped the head

It looks like it is a problem with the anit-theft system. Code p1610 is for an Immobilizer System Malfunction, usually set because the wrong key code was picked up by the anti-theft system. The procedure for checking it says to use a spare key that has worked in the past and if that doesn't fix it, you'll either have to have a licensed locksmith with the ability to reprogram your car to your key come out, or take it into the dealership to have it reprogrammed. The most likely cause for this is that haveing no battery power for a while as you described allowed the programmed key information to be lost. open the hood and on the firewall in front of the driver area you should see it.right under the driver wiper blade,under the hood

go to google.com key in make/year and problem code

call your local dealership and get the serial code off the radio and have them give it to you

try lubricating the gasket around the gas cap

Not sure about this car, but if the a/c evaporator is under the hood it will be under it close to the fire wall, if it is in the car then it will be sticking out of the fire wall and bent downwards. it is a black soft rubber tube . hope this helps

If you tinkered under the hood you may have un-plugged a vacuum hose that makes the cruse control work ,look under the hood for un-plugged tiny vacuum hoses,I have had this happen to me

if the water is on the drivers side only ,you need a mechanic to put a gasket around the outside drain of the a/c this will stop the water from going back into the car.tell him to possibly use a material for windshield installation
