If the fan doesnt run with the A/C on then something's wrong.
Fan will run intermittently but not necessarily permanently with the air conditioner compressor running.

Wouldn't be a fuse, but it seems as if the alternator is still not putting out normal power, or else your battery has a problem taking a charge. Better have the battery tested for a dead cell. also see what a voltmeter says about alternator output now. If you have an electrical problem in the wiring somewhere or in the alt. charging controls, then possibly one or more of the diodes in the alternator may got burnt out. That means the alternator puts out less power. On some newer cars, the engine computer, pcm, controls the rate of charge of the alternator. So you have to be careful diagnosing -know how your system operates. That's why mechanics always ask for year, make, model, and engine size if applicable.

Hole will keep the light on.

It's the EVAP system. Code is for an open or short to ground in the gas tank vent valve. Pin hole in tank might cause a P0442 for a small EVAP leak, if the hole was large enough.

Montero or Challenger? Both on the drivers side of the transmission. Big black switch under where the shifter cable goes to the transmission. Under the vehicle.

Right under the hose connection coming from the radiator to the engine, at the engine side. That upper radiator hose connects to the engine thru the thermostat housing. Usually 2 bolts hold it onto engine and the hose connects to it.

Bare wires or loose connections somewhere shorting out the fuse. A very careful visual inspection with a bright flashlight (I use new led) in the dark may reveal issue.

get it serviced? clean filters for a start. was the check engine light on driving. scan it.

Bearings come right out from outer side,inside is still held by the seal.Push the bearing and seal out fron the outer side with a long punch.Replace with a new seal.Drive out bearlng races with a hammer and punch to replace them also.
