Ignition nightmare

It sounds like you may need a new starter. The bendix on your current starter may be dry and worn so it could be causing wear on your ring gear.

Need instructions on changing drivers side 2000

i have replaced all four window motors on my 2000 yukon. I actually did the passenger side front today. It was a nightmare! if you don't have the the cables set right when you install the new motor/regulator it won't work right and it becomes extremely difficult to set right. I suggest having someone do it for you if you are not patient and handy. if u do go for it make sure u lay it out flat and upside down so the screws are facing u from the motor/regulator and do ur best to make sure that the cables are exactly where they were when u took off the old regulator/motor. this is again very difficult. took me about 4 hours and got very sunburnt on my neck! I am not a mechanic but a do it yourselfer. Last time I did the driver side i had a mechanic give me a hand and it took about an hour. Also make sure you wedge the window in with a stick or screwdriver so it won't drop while working on the door. If it is the cables u are replacing it is the same project. they are all interlinked. good luck and hope this helped.

2000 Yukon brake caliper

The problem may be with the rubber hose to the caliper. I have seen them come appart inside. You can check it by loosening the hose at the caliper, using a flat screwdriver compress the pad. If it moves free it is the hose. Good Luck.

Turn signal clicker

The easiest possible solution to both of your problems would be to replace the signal/flasher relay in the fuse box- usually under $15.00. This should resolve the problem if it doesn't I advise having a mechanic trace down the short which mah lie in a circuit board.
Hope this helps you all.

How to take the door panel off of a 2000 GMC truck

Run your fingers around the edge of the panel from the inside to see if there are any screws or caps over screws. If none are found then the panel is held on by little plastic clips and all you have to do is tug on a corner and it should pop off then continue around the panel. Some have screws and clips and some just have clips. When you are done take the clips out of the door with a fork and put them back in the panel before reinstalling the panel, it is easier than you think. Good luck.

Noise when engaging 4wd

I have had this problem and it could be one of three things, first the truck has automatic locking hubs, lack of lubrication to these hubs could cause them to make exessive noise while engaging. also you could need to lubricate your universal joins on your forward drive shaft. lastly my problem was abs wheel sensor actuator in drivers front hub had (internal part of hub looks like a large gear with teeth) had broken a gear off causing the hub to get wear in it making it clunk while engaging the four wheel drive.

Gmc youkon 2000

Often the circuit board that the actual buttons/switches you use to roll window up/down lock door will become faulty and require replacement these are integrated swiches so that when it fails you lose ability to operate both the power window motor and the door lock solenoid that locks and unlocks the door. LMC TRUCK offers replacements that are of good value. You may also find a replacement at a salvage yard or local auto parts store or dealer. The SWITCH COMBO UNIT THAT HAS CONTROL FOR ALL 4 WINDOWS IS around $140 plus and the two window version $80 plus. The replacement of the defective part is relatively simple also. You may want to ensure before replacing this part to use a multimeter and ensure there is power coming through the wiring to the circuit board.
Hope this helps you out.

2002 GMC Yukon MPH AND ODOMETER NOT WORKING

Remove the speed sensor and look in the hole, are there teeth in there and do they move with the vehicle, this really sounds like a speed sensor problem so if all appears good including checking the wires with a continuity tester get a new sensor.
