You probably have a broken blend door actuator, does it click over and over when you change to full hot or full cold?

Most likely you have a short either from a loose wire near the interior fuse panel or a bad switch unit. I would check the wires first then replace the switch.

If the security system is not on - a mechanic would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch.

my purge valve solenoid on my 2007 dodge magnum is under the hood on the back left hand side...gonna replace it when the part comes in tomorrow because after all my research that should resolve the issue.

Remove IOD fuse in trunk.Wait 10 seconds.Reinstall fuse.This resets module.Fuse is hard to remove because of clips.
