Sounds like you have a problem with the wiring in the column.The sensor in the lock cylinder sends a signal to the PASS module behind the speedo when you put the correct key in and turn to on.You may need to take the column apart and replace the harness to the lock cylinder.

Hi Jamie, Here's an old trick which you may find useful. Take a run down flashlight cell and confirm the wiring to the speakers by holding the earthing line of the speaker cable to the negative and flash the positive side with the feed to the speaker one at a time. With each swipe you will hear a thump from each speaker as you connect and disconnect. In that way you can confirm the cables are the ones you are connecting. Color coding is not always the same. Use a voltage test meter to confirm the constant power and ignition power and don't forget to earth the set once all other connections have been made, Withour an earth it won't work, but you know that anyway. sounds like a faulty oil light sender that has a leak or has blown. Will drain sump verry quickly

With the key ON engine OFF K.O.E.O. (cycle the key ON-OFF several times as pump only runs for 2 seconds) the pressure should be 41-47 PSI

If the are not working you need to take the instrument panel out and twist the bulbs out. befor you buy take the ones out that are working and put them in the place where they are not. If they work then you know it is just a bulb or lamp. Now since you have it out replace all of the lamps

Instrument cluster relay? I think you should probably have it looked at by a professional that knows how to deal with these things. You are wasting time and effort looking for parts that do not exist.

You might need to flush out the system and replace the thermostat.

check the cooing fans and make sure they come on when they are supposed if they don't come on when the car starts getting hot shut the car off and direct wire to battery to test the fans and make sure they are working. if the fans come on that way the cooling fan switch is bad should be mounted in thermostat housing. if fans work like they are supposed plugged up to car check the radiator cap could cause the same problem.

If the light keeps comming on and you are not sliding while breaking, you will need to take this in. The abs is a touchy thing and pretty complex for the average person. It seems as if the sensor(s) are sending messages to the computer indicating slippage which kicks it into gear. It may be many things, but there really is no easy way to check the abs system other than getting really lucky. If it is only the light and the abs is not actually engaging, you may be able to live with it as long as it is machanically functional. However, if it is slightly engaging, you will burn your breaks out quickly, as well as uneven wear on tires and damage to the abs system due to it kikcing in repeatedly at higher speeds.

on most cars if the temp sending unit goes bad the gauge reads as if the car is running hot. check sending unit before you waste more money.
