Where is the crank position sensor on my 1995
You didn't state which one you were looking for, so here's location of both. The 3X (low resolution) crank sensor is on right side of cylinder block forward of starter solenoid----The 24X (high resolution) crank sensor is at crankshaft pulley.
I have a 95 camaro, I put the key in ignition and
the ignition module (ignition switch on top of the steering column) normally doesn't get stuck.
things you can try:
steering wheel lock: (the pin gets a "burr" on it and locks everything up) wiggle steering wheel back and forth while trying to turn key.
transmission lock (parking on an incline will jam up the interlock)
push the shifter farther into park while trying to turn the key, or wiggle shifter
Why will car only stay running for 5-10 seconds?
Yes, The security can disable the fuel system. When you turn on the key listen closely at the fuel tank. You should hear the fuel pump. "this might take two people" If you don't hear it, try and start the car and let me know if the fuel pump runs during holding the key to start.

wow really it needs to be fixed not this bull , it is either the gasket leaking , ck to see if it is wet with fluid around the pan sometimes you can tighten the bolts , but just snug do not overtighten and break them or change the gasket , chevys are known for the little seal ring around the dip stick tube drying out and leaking , see if it is wet with fluid at the base of the dip stick tube where it goes into the trans , if so take the one bolt that holds it in out and just pull out the tube be carful just rock it back and forth a little bit and pull like hell it will come out put some grease on the new o ring and push it back in , good luck ,
Engine removal on a 1995 camaro from the top
I've removed a V6 the top and it was a two person pain in the rear. I don't know about the V8. I would advise using; Engine Hoist, level, and an extra hand. You can do it with the front bumper on but it would save a lot of headache with it off. Follow the step by step instructions from the Hanes book. Its much more efficient to drop the carriage but not everyone has a car lift at their dispose
