There could be plenty of causes for this. I would start with the buttons first. I learned quick that usually the buttons wear out before the motor. It's really a pain in the **** after buying a new motor and going thru the pain of installing it only to find out it was the 5 dollar button next to the shifter. If both are not working, then before you buy 1 button, check the fuses. If you have lost your owner's manual and do not own a service manual, e-mail me at
[email protected] and I will tell you which fuse it is out of my Bentley Service Manual. (bently being the publisher, not the car company)
If the fuse is good, and you replaced the power window button and you still get no response, it's time to take off your door panel. Check the wires to make sure they are getting power at the window motor (if not you have a problem in your harness) Or you may discover that somebody really came on some hard times and removed your window motors and sold them! (its actually not that uncommon, it happened to me in one of my previous cars)
If your motor is there, getting power, with a good fuse and button, then I am afraid you will have to replace your window motor. Let me know how it goes or if you need any further help!
