I have a 2006 voltswagon passat that had a

Hi Curt Sounds like a headache to say the least! As far as know, all vehicles from 2000 or so and on there is a fuse 'map' on the cover of the fuse box. For the Passat, I found this: Thread B5 B5 5 Passat Fuse Layout Reference fusepanelcomp png Now, to be honest, I am not a Volkswagon owner and I haven't worked on in..... well, ever. BUT, the electric system of cars are pretty much the same from a Kia to BMW. If you can figure out which fuse(s) you moved, you should be able to get things back to where they should be. Hopefully that will help you with the problem - a little anyhow!

The vw ngk plugs are pre gapped. If you have a misfire it's more likely either a coil, bad fuel, or a faulty ecm. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/stephen_3312f315a96e2956

How do i get time rest off my dash back to where it suppose to be

From your description, the car took a voltage spike. Some electrical components are very sensitive to this. Low battery voltage would cause this as well. Ensure that your charging system is working correctly by checking the output of the alternator with a multi-meter. Charging voltage should be around 13.5V with the car running. Verify that your battery is good as well. If all is found to be in good working order, disconnect the negative terminal of your battery and let the cars electrical system discharge completely by leaving disconnected for about 15-20 minutes with a door open. Connect your battery terminal ensuring that you do not arc it to the positive terminal. If this does not correct the instrument cluster, you may have a defective electrical component that requires further investigation. Hope it helps!

How do i turn off check engen light for a 06 vw passat

Any automotive parts store has a free diagnostic check (Scan Tool) They will scan the car for codes and reset your light. If there is a "hard" code, the light will turn on again after 3 failed attempts of that circuit. They will tell you what component is causing the problem.

Why is my oil pressure light is saying low oil

if there is insufficient oil in the sump then the pump picks up air and the oil pressure drops. This results in a message on the dash for you to check the engine oil level and bring it up to full level. If that is not the case then take it to an accredited service centre that has experience on your vehicle for a proper diagnosis as it could prove costly if you don't.

2006 passat 2.0t just replaced the Sparks and oil

Valve seals. When you shut the car off overnight, the oil leaks past the seals into the cylinders. When you start it, it burns that oil and smokes for a minute( actually it smoke all the time, just not as bad at startup).

When I lock my car using the factory key fob, the doors will lock, but the "chirp" confirmation from the horn and the lights do not flash. In addition, the back windows will not respond to the switch

I am thinking it is more with your FOB itself. If you take it to where it was installed, or dealer, they can re program the FOB for you.
