IIRC there is a fix from VW about a redesigned filler neck. I have had several Bugs and Golfs with this problem. I refer them to VW.

If you can take battery out and take it to a parts store and they will charge it for free. If you have a charger of your own then disconnect battery and charge it in car

What oil to use in 2006 vw beetle

On a 1.8T you should ALWAYS be running synthetic, otherwise you are going to have sludge issues...especially if you do a lot of city driving. Mobil 1 0w-40 is a great oil, readily available and reasonably priced.

Hope this helps...

2006 BEETLE JUST REPLACED BATTERY,

For a battery to go dead on you like that there must be something draining the battery while the vehicle is switched off. It could be something like a trunk light which is not switching off or a short across some circuit that does not show up on any light. The first and easiest test is to disconnect the battery negative cable whenever you park the vehicle overnight etc. and see if the battery still runs down.
As a more positive step and if this does not affect the alarm, disconnect the positive lead from the battery and wire a bulb like a tail light bulb, between the terminal and the removed lead. The bulb should light up. Make sure that everything on the vehicle is switched off, the bulb should still be lit. Remove and replace the fuses one by one until the bulb goes out. That is the circuit that is running your battery flat. Check all the components on that circuit until you get the light to stay out and your problem should be fixed.
Check your charging system. With the engine running at about 2000 rpm, a volt meter across the battery terminals should read around 14 to 14.5 volts and drop to about 13.8 volts with the engine at idle. If this does not happen, the charging system may be defective. Even with lights on the voltage should climb, but will drop lower at idle.

2006 beetle no start no

No spark no injector pulse your saying you check pulse. With the key in the igition is there a key sign flashing and does the key have a battery for alarm. For the fuel pump to operate it need a crank signal so you got the crank correct but no spark so the crank works. Can you check the ignition for pulse you know how it is shape its curved on one side staight on the other side well the curve side and at that end is the ground after that on is the control from ECM. If you can check pulse there then we can go to the ECM . What I am trying to get at is this your alarm is the only thing beside the ECM that can cause this.

2006 2.5 engine temp light

Is it over heating, put one hand on upper hose and the other on lower hose if ther is a big difference in temperature oh my you will have to change water pump why the propellor is plastic and have a tendency to break internally. Now hold on lets go at this step by step. in the plastic radiator there is a low coolant sensor there see if that rod pops up (do this when the engine is cold) if it is you are looking at a waterpump

I need to know the step on how to replace

There are two spring clips located under the hood around each headlamp housing. Open both clips and extract the headlamp housing from the front of the car by pulling the plastic assembly by grabing the edges by the black rubber seal. The entire headlamp housing will pull out from the front bumper enough to allow you to change the bulbs. Repeat procedure and clip the spring clamps back in place.
