it is a safety feature, you need to hit the lock button again,

some have a lockout button for each side..make sure its set for the drivers side (or look at fuses)

is the electric fan working? if not it could be the fan or it could be the cooling sensor, find the sensor and disconnect it.. i believe the fan will stay on constantly if it is unplugged, this should tell you if its the sensor or fan

Just get both ends of the cable loose, then it should come out pretty easy. Install the cable the same way you removed it.

Could be a blend door problem. You would need fresh air from the outside to keep the windows from fogging up. If the blend door that controls outside air gets stuck or fails to open, you may not get fresh air. The ac compressor would also need to run every few minutes to dry the air hitting the windshield.

sounds as if the cable is shot which means that the motor will have to be replaced cause i think after 01 they went from cable pulley to sleeved cable and cause of the frayed cable in the sleeve is causing the stiff door btw i have installed power sliding doors on my 02 venture and know the system intimatly

the car manual should have it in there and if not look on line for the make and model and that might help you.

check fuse/relay. they have them for each side. see image for location in fuse box
