mine did the same the dealer said that it was a way the car shuts down so no damage can happen to the engine . was the engine sensor on the only one that can fix it is the dealer. its a safety feature .

yeah ive seen this a lot on the altimas!! headgaskets leak to nissans are turning into garbage 

Near the back of the engine compartment, on the passenger side of the car. Just behind the windshield washer fluid container.

What happens when you try to turn it over? Can you here the starter engage or is there nothing happening at all?

Likely a coil. Swap#1 & #4 coils, if the misfire is now in #4 cyl you've found your problem.

If the gear selector won't move. Stick something in the hole next to the selector. This bypasses the actuator that is there. Kids safety. Make sure you have the brake pressed. Sometimes drinks get spilled and the actuator can't move when the brake is pressed.

its very simple. You can see a black hose from the engine which connects the metal pipe. just remove it and you can see three gold color pin from the metal pipe. scratch that pins using a salt paper and fix it. Now check whether you get started or not. Thanks.

If it's a KA24DE (2.4) engine, under the throttle body is a small lock nut with an Alan screw in it. Break the nut loose then adjust the alan screw out with an alan wrench.

Did you have the same symptoms before you changed out the brake switch?
