Service 4x4 Light keeps coming on replace encoder

I your 4wd is functioning properly, then it is just a programmed service reminder. You may have to disconnect the encoder motor or sensor and reconnect it ot disable the light. If that doesn't work, call your dealership and ask for assistance. If they are worth anything they will tell you how to clear the light. If they want you to bring it in for a small fee, call somebody else.

My 2005 Yukon AC blower is not blowing. THe

There is a service bulletin for this problem which replaces the blower resistor and connector. Mine had the same problem while on vacation. No fan speed control, and when it did work, the fan would keep running after the vehicle was shut off. Mine is currently in the shop getting the service bulletin installed.

Traction active message

It does that to tell you that your traction control senses slip on one of the wheels and is transferring some of the spin to the other wheel(s). What it basically means is that driving conditions are not optimal so if you see that message, be ready for some sort of weirdness while steering.

Check engine light is on

Hello, when the check engine light comes on this means that some part on the engine has failed( oxygen sensor, relay, emission part, coil, injector, ect) the dealer will charge you around $100.00 to run a diagnostic test on it!! but you can swing by any auto-zone parts store and they will run a test on it for no charge( they have a hand held little computer that plugs in under your dash.) and tell you which part is gone bad on your suv, which you can purchase from them and replace yourself,or at least take to shop and tell them which part is bad saving your self the $100.00+ dollars for finding the problem....yz-maniac.
