This is a pretty big job for a DIYer. You have to pull the transmission to get to it. If you're up for it I can tell you how. It will probably be a 2 day job if you only have moderate auto knowledge.

There is no such thing as a "cold start valve" but there is an IAC motor that adjusts the idle speed, and they can fail/stick and not turn on the check enging light. There are a couple of things that can cause what you are describing so I wouldn't just start throwing parts at it. You really need to have a shop with a scan tool have a look at it.
How to set new key fob?
Google - for the win!1. Close all doors2. Insert key into ignition3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver's door panel, continue to hold down until instructed to release in step 9.4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in a fairly rapid succession.5. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)6. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.7. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)8. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.9. Release the power UNLOCK button on the door panel. The vehicle should respond by door locks locking and unlocking automatically. (If locks do not cycle after you let go, not before you let go of the unlock button, then the vehicle has not entered programming mode and you must start procedure over. Remove key from ignition, open drivers door and return to step 1 ). If the locks do cycle automatically then proceed to step 10.10. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote until the doors lock and unlock. This may take up to 30 seconds.11. Repeat step 10 NOW for each additional remote. (Including any existing remotes).12. Turn the ignition to the ON position to exit the programming mode.13. Test remote(s).

P0300 CODE STARTS FLASHING WHEN DRIVING
NEED A SCANNER AND WATCH THE MISSFIRE GRAPH, SHOULD SHOW YOU WHICH CYLINDERS ARE MISSFIRING. ALSO DO A COMPRESSION CHECK.IF ONE OR MORE OF THE CYLINDERS IS WEEK WILL CAUSE THIS ISSUE. MANY THINGS CAN CAUSE THIS SUCH AS POOR FUEL QUALITY, SPARK PLUGS AND OR ONE OR MORE OF THE COILS COULD BE BAD.
Blue smoke No oil consumption + more questions
white smoke could be coolant burning and not oil possible head seal on the way out or a leak in the jacket into the cylendars, check coolant levels are ok, also check oil filler cap and see if any creamy or gray gunk is showing on it, this would also indicate the same. you can also check exhaust with a cloth to see if a lot of steam is also coming out with the smoke.
