Why do my gas needle go from low fuel light on to

I'm not sure I am understanding your question. The low Fuel indicator light comes on, depending on how sensitive it is set, when you have between 2 and 5 gallons of gas left in the tank. This also depends on how accurate your fuel level sending unit is reading the fuel level in the tank. The low fuel level light depends on the level of fuel in the tank itself but other than using that sensor it has nothing to do with the fuel gauge itself. The fuel gauge may or may not be accurately showing the fuel level.

Can't turn key to start car on 2001 jimmy

Have you tried to turn the stearing wheel side to side while turning the key? Sometimes the wheel gets bumped and it locks with the key in the ignition and the added tension won't alow you to turn key unless you turn the wheel from one side to the other.

Car keeps dying or smothering out when tank is full

Need to put fuel cleaner, treatment " heet " from auto store. Moisture in tank. Also, carborator retains water. Must drill small holes on bottom of plastic cover. Water gets in and the spark plugs don't fire. Then seal the carborator with heat resistant sealant. Check or change the electrical connections to the EGR valve. It worked for me after these are done. Poor design of carborator on this vehicle. Eileen T. NY

Why does it hesitate when accelerated?

You still have a problem with all the O2 sensors Bbank 1 Sensor 1, Bank 2 Sensor 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 2) - if they are all the correct ones and are correctly installed and connected, then you need to carefully check the wiring harness and wire connections from them to the ECU. the P0300 just means random engine misfires.

My 2001 GMC Jimmy wont accelerate. The RPMs shoot

Is the check engine light on? See what it says. It may be transmission related. The leaking fluid is probably transmission fluid. If it's really low you'll have a problem.

Power seat works sometimes

It may be the switch is failing and needs to be replaced. However, it is not unusual for the motor moving the seat forward and back to jam on the running teeth attached to the seat. If, when you use the switch, you can either feel or hear the motor trying to run, then it is probably a mechanical problem under the seat. This can have a few causes - something on the teeth that should not be there, alignment of the motor to the teeth (maybe loose bolts), etc. If this is the case, the only way to troubleshoot this is to remove the bolts holding the seat frame to the floor, then using the motor move the seat as far back as it will go, then tip the seat forward and inspect the motor and gears underneath.

When I try to start my 2001 jimmy, it locks up and won't turn over

Can you turn the crankshaft by hand? Use proper size socket and breakover, hopefully, there is a pulley bolt on the end of crankshaft. If it won't turn, take the belt loose and remove spark plugs in case of hydrostatic lock, fluid in the cylinders. You said it locks-up, that what I am going by. Meaning the engine mechanically locks up. It could be internal engine problem?

I don't believe there would be a problem due to fit but this is difference in measurements. The 75 diameter (across tire) is 28.88 in. The 70 diameter is 27.95 in The 75 width of tire is 9.25 The 70 width is also 9.25 The 75 circumference 90.72 The 70 circumference 87.82 The 75 sidewall height 6.94 The 70 sidewall height 6.48 The 75 revolution per mile 698 The 70 revolution per mile 721 The 75 speed at 50 and the 70 is 48.4 I can't see why it would not work.
