Why is hot air blowing out of my air conditioner all the time

You need to get it recharged with coolant, take it to a h-vac shop or refrigeration shop and they can pressure it up to see if you have a leaking hose, if this is the case a cheap fix for the hose is to clean the leak up, buff it with steel wool and apply a product called liquid steel to the leak, then get it recharged.Or just but a new hose

2001 GMC Jimmy-DRL do not work, headlights work when manually turned on. Tried owners manuel suggestions (press dome overide button three times in 6 seconds) did not help.

This may be oversimplified, many times both of the DRL lamps are burnt out. Many people don't notice till the second bulb fails. Pull out one of the headlamps and verify condition of bulb.

2001 gmc jimmy po171 lean bank code what could be

More than likely bank 1 sensor has a possible vacuum leak, or a lean misfire on that side of the bank.(lean misfire happens when gap of spark plug are exceed due to wear), As for the 02 sensor I agree that it is reporting the true engine condition on that side of the bank

Adjust brake light switch

There should be a pushrod retainer that holds the switch to a pin on the brake pedal arm. If the retainer is missing or not seated properly (should snap into place), the switch would be loose. There is no other adjustment.
