Why does my 1993 dodge caravan switch to defrost
Hello and welcome to Fixya!
As
a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the
positive batter connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. before
reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get your vehicle
back to it's normal operation.
Please do keep me
posted on the progress. I'll be glad to help you out. Hope this helps
and thank you for using Fixya! Have a good one!

REAR WIPER ARM WILL NOT
this sounds like the wiper relay is not working for the park position or the park position on the wiper motor is not working.
My dash gages on my 1993 dodge caravan dont work
Hello
More than likely the dash dimmer control switch is defective or turned off by mistake, check that 1st. The dimmer control is part of the headlight switch, the part is no very inexpensive. The panel is called the "POD"
There is a hole in the top, fabricate a metal rod to fit the hole.
93 Models
On these models, the left POD switch consists of the headlamp, parking lamp and hazard switches.
- To remove the left POD switch, place a tool fabricated from a metal rod, shown in the illustration, in the hole right of the switch in the cluster bezel below the POD switch.
- Move the tool to the lower tab and depress. Pull the switch out to free the lower tab.
- Move the tool upward along the right side of the switch to place on the top tab. Pull down on the tab and pull the switch out of the bezel.
- Disengage the wire connector.
To install:
- Engage the wire connector and push the switch into position until the tab locks in place.
I have a '92 Dodge
Do you have your foot on the brake when you try to move the gearshift? Other than that you will have to look under the hood and see if the linkage is hung up or broken somewhere.Mostly the the linkage is snapped out.
------------
Try readjusting shifter.
Once the shift cable is properly adjusted, the indicator in the instrument cluster can be adjusted separately. Use a 9/64" allen wrench to turn the adjusting screw. That screw is in a white plastic housing and tube on top of the steering column. You'll need to remove the "knee blocker" panel under the column, then look just to the right of the fuse box for that screw. Shift to neutral, then adjust the screw until the pointer is in the middle of the "N"

This has to be inspected. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
The pump is working but
need to check the camshaft sensor and check power and fuel injector pulse from the ECM at the injectors.the camshaft sensor sends a signal to let the ECM know when and which injector to operate.
Where is the turn signal
Hi, first of all locate the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side of the Caravan. Look near the emergency brake. The fuse box cover has two finger screws that you should loosen to remove the cover. Inside you will see a collection of fuses and in the upper right corner a few relays.
Find the turn signal hazard flasher relay in the upper right corner of the fuse box. It should be easy to spot as it is the biggest of the relays in the box.
93 caravan defaults to defrost when accelerating
Your vehicle is equipped with thin plastic vacuum tubes. When your motor rocks, they kink and default the blower to the defrost setting. You can try to reroute them or wire them above the motor so they do not move so much. A new central motor mount might limit the motor rocking. You can reinforce the tubes by wrapping them or replace them or just learn to live with it. It is far worse if you live in hilly country. My problem got better when I replaced all three motor mounts( I was trying to fix a drive axle problem that was caused by non Chrysler rebuilt axles)
