Buick troubleshooting
check the fuse in the fuse panel. if that's not the problem it would be the solenoids inside the door panel.
Where is the a/c orifice tube located for a 2000
For a 2000 Lesabre the A/C ports (oriffice tubes) are located on the passenger side of the engine compartment right on top of the Canister. There are two ports, one is larger than the other and both have a threaded plastic cap on them. The smaller one is the low side where you can check your R-134 pressure.
1. Start engine and run the A/C on MAX.
2. Remove the plastic cap from the smaller valve.
3. Connect your gauge to that valve.
4. Follow the instuctions and temperature specifications on the R-134 package.
The dash lights went out
Sounds like you have some confusion going on here.
The dash lights and tail lights have always been on different circuits and fuses. So if one set of lights fail, the other stays on unless the headlight switch blows up.
The fuse marked "instruments" is for the speedo and gas gauge, not the lights.
On your car there is an instrument panel module and a dash integraded module which both involve the dash lights.
You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams and test procedures for this circuit.
Another thing - after 1998 most cars and trucks switched from having the headlight switch provide power to having them provide the ground connection.

2000 buick lesabre stalls
I know exactly what the problem is. Buicks suck. Dont buy one. I have one with same stalling issues and after what I've read even with a computer diagnostic there is no way to know. Its called a defective car from the factory.
Random Cylinder Misfire
The problem is the ignition control module such is under the coil packs. It seems to be an internal problem in the design. I have seen it many times and if you don't belive as many will not. So disconnect the modules electrical connector and just let it sit for two to three days. After that clean ir replace your sparkplugs, they will be fails up dew to it running lean and rich. Plug it in. Plug it in and wala its fixed $ but only for a week or two then back to the same thing so in short change the ignition module and save time and money, and don't forget to thank your friendly neighbor hood mexican mechanic.
At 40 mph the car starts to shake. It last to 5o
I have this same car with exactly the same problem. Begins shaking at 40mph and stops shaking as soon as you let off the gas, but then begins again as soon as you press on the gas and smooths out as you get over 50. And the shaking is not felt through the steering wheel. Solution: Replace the transmission mounts. There are two of them, one on each side mounted on the frame right next to the shock strut. There is also a front and rear engine mount, but I replaced the two as described and shaking is gone.
