Thick white smoke is most likely Blown head gasket! the seal between the cylinder block and the cylinder head. Coolant in the cylinders.Does the white smoke have a sweetness to it? That will be the glycol in the antifreeze. Does it run rough? Is there smoke in the radiator, or fluid pushing out of radiator? Open radiator only when COLD engine or slowly with thick gloves and towel over cap. Allow pressure to bleed off before removing cap completely. White foam in or around the oil filler cap.? Cylinder pressure test will reveal where it is. As will a super clean spark plug. Sorry.

Your need to get your ac drain plug drained. It is cogged. This is a
known problem with our cars. Eventually so much water will build and you
will have a waterfall on the passenger front floor board from the vent
when you turn.
The water is probably condensation from the ac evaporator. there should
be a drain hose on the firewall, it could be kinked or plugged. Outlet is behind driver side brake lines 1/2 way up in a frame weldment
bracket hole. Impossible to get to. My dealer drilled a hole, inside
driverside air distribution housing (remove panel next to your
accelerator leg) and blew air in it. Lasted 5 min. and plugged again.
I
found lowest point in righthand corner of housing. You can see molded
round shape in housing that leads into firewall. Used hole drilled in
line towards back of housing and ran a stiff wire down molded round
shape. It went past firewall, massive amount of water came out.
In few steps...
- Pull the carpet back on the left side (driver's side in North America), and you will see the drain tube
- Note the location of the drain tube where it intersects the firewall, next to the steering column.
- Open the hood, and locate the exit of the drain tube in the engine
compartment, next to the steering column. It is a small hole in the
firewall, about the size of a quarter (maybe a little bigger), behind
the lower engine mount. Reach down with your hand, and you should be
able to feel the hard plastic tube in the hole. My car had a soft,
spongy material around the tube, inside the hole.
Hope this helps.

depending on how bad the valve guides are worn as to whether just fitting new seals will solve the problem, if they are badly worn it is better to replace them, you will most likely have to remove the head to replace the seals anyway & if the guides have to be replaced they have to pressed out & the new guides pressed in, it might be worth doing seeing as the head is off anyway to make sure that it is done properly.....hope this helps......cheers.

this light will go out after you inflate the tires to the proper pressure, make sure to check the spare tire also as sometimes they may have a sensor on them too.after all tires are set you may need to drive a few miles to reset the light. if the light remains on then you may have a bad sensor and will have to go and have each sensor tested with a tpms tool. the manufactor lists 10min of driving after setting all tire pressures even the spare tire and then light will go out. good day.
My Mitsubishi Endeavor (2005) has run 60000 miles.
Its a rule of the thumb that when ever you do a timing belt yopu also change
- the crankshaft seals
- cam seals
- water pump
- tensioner pulley(included in the timing kit)
It will just save from paying someone just to pull it apart and do it all over.To reach the timing belt/chain all these will have to be pulled apart so why not change it so it lasta you another 100k's
My 2005 Endeavor failed the California smog
At autozone service center its free to get car scanned. They dont charge for scanning .You get codes for free.------ But basically the diagnostic cost at local service centers is Approx $75.This is there starting price. It depends upon, how much time it takes.----------
Also confirm with any other local service center for the diagnostic price.----------- 178 is bit double the regular.-------
------------
Ask them to charge less. Its more then regular cost.--------
Thanks.Helpmech.
