Manual BMW z4 2005
If you can get into to cockpit then just push the button under the steering wheel to the left; it opens the trunk. If that was your only set of keys, call a locksmith, get into the cockpit hit the button.

you need to have the pass key it is a 4 digit number if you have all of the ooks that came with the car there will be a white card with all the telephone data on it. if you can not find that you can take it to your neaest BMW dealer and they can hook it up to the diagnostic machne and read out your 4 digit code out of the telephone module. hope this helps.

Hi,
My convertible top of my 2005 Z4 is not
I'm sorry to say that it sounds like your motor on the hood has packed up, this is usually due to water ingress and is not easy to repair. There are some drain holes in the area of the motor and these tend to clog with dirt etc this results in the motor getting wet and results in the problem you have explained I have had the same problem with my Z4 and this was fixed by BMW as apparently they have to re-align the roof although there are several forums with people who have done it themselves and report it take about 5 hours
There is a manual release in the boot that will allow you to move the roof up and down. If you open the boot and look along the top edge you will see a red tab. Pull this out 5mm and twist so it doesn

2005 z4 headlight bulb replacement, how?
you get access threw the wheel well area easiest way to lift up car so wheel drops down to give you more room but can be done on grond. lets just say its the drivers side headlight that was out turn the wheel all the way to the left and with a light look in dirvers side wheel area there will be two tabs that you need to turn and remove door then you will see the back of the headlight pop off the silver metal clip/wire that holds a cover for the back of the headlight itself then you should see the back of the headlight bulp and the wire connectors. any other questions just let me know

My 2005 z4's battery indicator
Hi,
If the battery have, as you have said charged it more than an hour, it must be already dead and would not accept charging. It means the cell plates inside are all exhausted.
Try to go to your battery dealer and have a free check up. They have a meter load tester that assesses your battery if it is still good or need be replace. Ask them to check your charging system too!
The charging system should have a 13 volts to 14 volts output!
Hope that helps you out!
Thanks for using Fixya!
