How do you switch this from Japanese to english?

I also have a 2009 Outlander Sportronic transmission with a V6 engine.
Bought it this summer ... transmission appeared fine but seemed to automatically slow down the vehicle using the engines compression whenever I let go of the gas pedal.
Now that the cold weather is upon us here in Canada, whenever I accelarate normally (not like a teenager) the transmission takes quite a bit of time to shift into second... If I rev up the engine (quick take off) it seems to help but the shifting of gears is not as smooth as I would expect it (mildly slips and kicks into second)...

The worst is when come to a complete stop ... then the transmission kicks coming down from the higher gears???

I read somewhere that this is because this transmission is a CVT type and is learning my driving habits in order to adjust itself so the vehicle becomes more fuel efficient... Not sure but if the trany is computer controlled then it must be poorly writen program...
I'm taking the car in to the dealer and will write back on the diagnostic they give me ...

If the cause of the problem is fixed, the light will go out by itself. If you haven't fixed the underlying problem, the light will stay on. You can clear the codes with a scan tool, but it'll come right back on the instant you turn the ign key.

Why did you replace the sensor in the first place is the first question. If it already didn't start then the crank sensor was not the problem, crank sensor faults can be logged for other reasons. If it did start put the old one back in and try again.

You need to contact the dealer for this problem there is nothing you can service to fix this.

Not meaning to be smart but has it any fuel? or possibly fuel pump not working is it turning over ?perhaps battery fault.

Go to your dealer and ask if the motors have the same part number if so they are inter changeable , In most states the windows must function to be road worthy .

More then likely the sending unit

Sending unit is bad its float thats in the tank reads to the gauge very rare that it will be the cluster its self could even be a ground in some cases

the 225 is the sidewall size, the height of the side wall. I also have the same vehicle with a low-profile tire, I know there is not a lot of room in there to go much taller if any. I do see where there could be a problem with the computer but it's a computer it should be able to be re calibrated.

May simply be the throttle body adjustment. This is all dismantled to get to the head gasket.

Try this:

oil pumps are in the sump and run in oil there is no bearing as such as the shaft and gears are just a close fit in the cast housing which is lubricated by passing oil under pressure as for a noise, if you can hear it there will be little or no oil pressure However water pumps bearings regularly fail and you will hear it. mostly a sort of tinny rattling noise or a low grumble.

Fault code p2138 if you know it? If you don't. Google it.

Hi, did you know there is a recall on the indicator/headlight stalk. The plug in the base may be faulty. I wolud check with a Mitsubishi dealer or gGoogle, if your car is included. You need your VIN number. Does it work when you pit your hazards on or you lock the car? If not may be it is the plug in the back of the globe. Good Luck
