Use OBDII scanner to read codes.

post a pic of the bulb. HID kits vary greatly. Either post a pic, or remove the bulb and the bulb number should be on the base.

park light or headlight or both is not on

with the key or keyless entry remote

has 3 nuts behind the lights themselves take those off and rotate the plastic holders out and change the bulb

try gong through the speaker holes on the rear shelf

pull the bulb out and check to see if it is blowen

check the fuses mate

check for any leek in radiator coolent if no leak drain and refill the both radiator and coolent sump with new coolent.

Start with the firs post and have those cables and linkage assembly looked at if those are good then what you have is a loose bolt on the transmission that bolt is responsible to keep the gear in place when loose the transmission will do what you described as well nothing more nothing less.
