I need the radio code

look in your glovebox and see if you have one of these cards. they come with every new mitsubishi.
if not you'll need to pull out the radio and take it to the service department at your local mitsubishi dealership. they will enter the serial number off the sticker on radio into their computer and give you the unlock code.

Problem with heater blowing cold air 2001 eclipse spyder + 1more

You could have a couple of issues.
Heater core
Radiator blockage

You should not drive the car to avoid overheating the motor. Have the system checked by a mechanic. You could simply have air lock.

Youfr front end is either wheel balance if your steering wheel shimmies side to side or if it shakes up and down it may be alignment. Neither is good for your tires, Try the balance first (cheapest fix)

Heater blowing cool air

Sounds like you need to change the thermostat. Usually the housing for the thermostat is where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine be it a v6 or 4.

When I press the gas pedal hard and it downshifts

Hi,

Thanks for using Fixya.

One of the most common complaints with automatics is fluid leaks. Fluid can leak out of the driveshaft seals, the input shaft seal, the transmission pan gasket, the torque converter or the ATF cooler and line connections. If the fluid level gets low, the transmission may be slow to engage when it is shifted into drive. Gear shifts may be sloppy or delayed, or the transmission may slip between shifts. If the fluid level is really low, the transmission may cause the vehicle to not go at all. I hope this helps.

Thanks and have a nice day.

AC Problem in my mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2002 GT

Sounds like the cooling fan motor,or motors, are not working.Check the relays, and fuses for the cooling fans.If the ac is on,look to see if the cooling fan,or fans come on.If they do ,then most likely have an enternal ac system problem. The expansion valve is the most likely problem,or possible, the dryer.Have the ac system checked to see if it is low,or if the low side is going into a vacuum,if it is going into a vacuum, replace the expansion valve.First check to see if the cooling fans are working with ac on.If I can help, let me know.>>>[email protected]

Audio car security code is locked

I have the same year car. Mechanics screwed up my radio when they disconnected the battery doing other work. Try this....put your key in the ignition and turn it to the "ACC" position so that the dashboard powers up, but don't actually turn the engine over. Then you wait. The car has to sit like this for 45 minutes to one hour uninterrupted, so bring a good book:) After the hour is up you should see the radio screen go blank. Once that happens, it should be reset so that when you turn it on you should get the "Code" message again. From there you get 3 new chances to re-enter your code correctly. This worked for me, it should for you too. Hopefully it will save you a costly trip to the dealership for such a simple fix. Good luck!

My readio reads off how do i trun it back on to

i read a solution online that said just turn car on, but don't actually turn over the engine, then turn the stereo and let it read off for 1 hour. The car has to sit in this idle state for one solid, continuous hour, then the screen should go blank. Turn on the stereo system again and it is once again read for the code to be input.

The remote is broken.

Unlocking the driver door with the key shuts off the alarm system if it is a factory alarm system.
If the alarm system is aftermarket you may have to remove it . Good luck.
