Voltage low on cam sensor ,how do you know that ? Is there a DTC - diagnostic trouble code associated with this ? Low voltage codes usually indicate an open on the circuit . Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Quick Test

So that wipers park properly, the wipers have 2 power sources. One is from the dash switch to turn the wipers no and off, but the second is the parking power, which is always supposed to be on. The parking power is supposed to be shut off by a rotating cam inside of the wiper motor housing itself. If you don't want to take it out and fix it, you could always just pull the parking wire to the wipers, and then try to manually park them by shutting off the wipers at exactly the right time.

This code is for ABS and will have nothing to do with a no start condition. What size motor is in the vehicle? I need to know in order to offer assistance

Start by getting an "easyout" kit for the screws that held the old one in. You may need a small drill to start the easyout, but that will let you remove the old one cleanly. You may be able to splice the wires inside the door, or run the wires from the new mirror into the car somewhere. . .

remove the wiper motor and clean/spray oil...the grease inside is hard already.

Check the wires to your wiper motor. You may have a loose connection. Otherwise your wiper motor may be burning out, or the switch is malfunctioning. Try jiggling the switch in all directions with the wipers on high. I have a feeling its the switch not the motor.

It could be you have a faulty radiator fan relay. There could be issues with the thermostat or thermostat housing. The old Cougar thermostat housings weren't built very well and tend to malfunction. Check the by-pass hose from the heater to the intake manifold after the car is warmed up with the heater on to make sure it is hot and coolant is actually passing through. I would just replace the thermostat, relay, and housing and see if that fixes it first. If these things haven't been changed in the last 10 years then they are due for a replacement. If it is a speed sensor(only one on the transmission) then it would set a code. Since it is intermittent, the light might not come on. But it would be in the history codes. My guess is the speed motor in the cluster has a bad solder joint. If it were the logic chip, all the gauges would act up or just not work. You can also have the instrument panel scnnaed for codes.

Is this a v6? It comes out through the wheel-well. So you have to safely raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire, remove tie rod end from steering knuckle. Remove wheel well liner. Take negative battery cable loose, take belt loose, take wiring connectors loose from generator, remove bolts from generator, remove generator.
