Not possible. The rear struts on this vehicle are air-assisted and require inflation to hold the vehicle up. If the air source has failed it will need repaired, If the struts themselves are leaking and won't hold up , they must be replaced. There is no other option.

sounds like a short some where here are a few things t check check the door switches making sure that the wires are still attached and are not touching body work also the rear clusters take the off and check all connections and bulbs a bit sand paper rubbing the copper connectors and spry them with a bit wd40 if the problem is still there its an auto electrician

Your problem is most likely a broken door lock assembly. The closing assist actuators work with vacuum/pressure from the PSE pump and they break. The usual point of failure is the locks that hold the actuator together. You may try to find a way to reassemble the actuator, but the best fix is to replace the door lock assembly. Unfortunately MB does not make individual repair parts available for these cars.

on my 2003 they are in three separate places....two are in engine compartment area...the third is behind a panel or passenger side...next to the glove compartment where the air vent is located (air vent to the door) i suspect the instrument panel fuses are in the engine compartment area....hope that helps

I'm thinking a problem with the battery and/or connections . Have the battery load tested for a dead cell . If the battery or terminals are bad there will be no power to let you get the key out and there will be no cranking noise either . A faulty CPS will allow the engine to crank but not fire

In auto it could be the lockout switch that stops you starting other than in P or N going \'open\' so it thinks it is in gear, same thing happened to my Mercedes A170 CDI. Must be a loose connection with your battery or your car's CPU. Remove and reset the terminals. Make sure they are clean before putting them back in. Rub some 70 percent isopropyl alcohol on it and let dry. Don't clean it with a sandpaper. For the battery, make sure the terminals are not corroded. Clean well and then replace. Tighten it very well. Place a coating of grease thereafter to prevent further corrosion.

your AC has a pressure switch which will turn the system off if there is not enough freon in it you may have a leak somewhere best to get it checked By acertified AC specialist

Does it click or do anything? If not, then the plastic gears inside the ignition that control the vehicles ACC and ON positions along with the cranking may have slipped. Have someone to pull the ignition switch panel and check and make sure the "gears" are working properly.
