How do I change the ECT sensor on a 2006 Mazda 3 ?
I think they are located in between sparkplugs 3 and 4 and are accessible by removing the gromit that the wiring goes through. You need to flick the wiring plug off with a small screwdriver then you can get to the sensor with s socket and extension.
Let me know if this helps
Cheers

Found water inside spark plug well
Water in spark hole will cause the missing Blow this out and try again. The main concern is how did water get there. Have you been thru a car wash latly or had your engine degreased after a service ? If none of these then things could be more serious

In dash display with clock, radio station indicator
My audio and clock display stopped working all of a sudden. The audio system still worked fine. I had all my fuses checked previously and was told it could cost up to $800 to fix by Mazda. I pulled out fuse 31 and wiped it clean, reinserted it and now my display works as good as new. Thanks to those on this site for your help.

Headlight shortage
Is the bulb connector melted? Its the plastic piece that the bulb plugs into. You can get a new one from your Mazda dealer for about $20. I've seen quite a few bulb connectors go bad and short out the bulbs. Especially when people run mp3 players and phone chargers all the time.
