Miata fuse box - 80a now welded into the fuse block - HELP!
Pel, the 80 amp main is bolted into the fuse block. Disconnect battery, metric 10 socket removes the block by the 2 bolts on the engine side, same size bolts on both side of the block, remove them both have ring connectors, be sure to reconnect them when putting back together. I did this same thing last monday during a hail and rain storm.
Air bag dash light stays on
Hi there
Not normal at all. Could be a connection problem at the air bag pre tensioners, the part where your seat belt clips in to when you wearing the seat belt, or could be the hooter ring contact that is not good or the airbag/s has been activated then airbag computer and seatbelt stalks that activated has to be replaced.
Hope this sheds some light.
Regards
Phillip
Will 1992 miata side mirrors fit exactly on a 1996 miata
The above is a good explanation of accessing the mirror but to answer your question directly, yes, they will fit. All the 90-97 mirrors are interchangeable with the exception of installing later power mirrors onto a 90-91 Miata where it wasn't a factory option. They will mount up fine but do require enlarging the center hole where the wires need to run.
Window does not open
It may have broke the plastic clip on the actuation motor arm, or it has came off track. There could be other factors causing problems. One of those things you really don't know for sure until you take it apart to find the actual problem. Auto body repair shops are good at fixing window motor issues.

I need the correct timing marks for a 96 miata 1.8
The
E mark on the left camshaft pulley should line up with the
E mark on the camshaft cover. The
I mark on the right camshaft pulley should line up with the
I mark on the head. There is also a notch on the top of the bottom pulley that needs to line up with the cast pointer above this pulley. I like to mark stuff when I am taking it apart with white paint, it is easy to see when putting stuff back together. The
