cooling fan 1 control circuit malfunction

You can not disable this system. The powertrain control module (PCM) programmed look for the Transponder Key (your ignition key has micro chip code). You will have replace your ignition switch and get new key reflashed by a dealer or locksmith

Sometimes the transmission makes that noise when it's low on oil. Check the oil level....that could be the noise. Hope this helps.

jack up on jack stands, drain oil, remove all pan bolts, clean pan, use new gasket, replace bolts to torque specs do not over tighten it will tear the gasket. DO NOT USE GASKET SEALER OR PERMATEX IT MAKES GASKET SLIP

Try pulling back on the brake pedal if lights go off then either switch adjustment or the brake booster is allowing the pedal to drop down if it's running (vacuum) or brake pedal mechanism is binding.

Robert, if your radio is a Chrysler radio that came with the vehicle then your problem is not a code issue. Two things may have happened. (1) You may have blown a fuse while replacing the battery. Check all fuses. (2) The Radio was on its last leg and the battery change may have help it go out. Here, one thing you can try if the fuses are good. Pull the radio out and try unplugging and reinstalling the connectors at the back of the radio. Some times this will kick start the radio back to life. does the gas pump shut off automatically?? when filling it is good. Change your fuel filter, and the valve is in the gas cap, your fuel pump is in the tank!!

Hi. The black soot is that your engine is running too rich. I would have checked out the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor tells the computer how much gas is needed to run your car. If the sensor is malfunctioning or dead the computer will make the engine run with more gas (rich) Go to your mechanic and have him run the code scanner. I would also clean out the EGR valve which you can do yourself. Good luck

There is either a bad motor, or bad control switch. This could also be connections that need to be cleaned and fit back on tightly.

You will most likely have to remove the whole deck. Somewhere on the deck, once you get it out, should have a small release button or a small hole you can put a paper clip into for releasing the stuck cd.

pop the latches on each end of the seat in the front, if never removed you probably will need help to wiggle seat loose to get it out, good luck.

There are several reasons for a blower to stop working. Does it work on ANY speed? Does the AC compressor lamp or any of the vent control LEDs still work when using the AC controls? Do ANY of the speed for the blower work or are they all dead? 1st, you wanna check your fuses. There will be fuses in the underhood fusebox marked blower or heater fan, check and repalce as necessary. Also, if the earlier check for working LED bulbs on the AC control panel showed some or all lights dont ever turn on when engine is running, you may have problems with the control system. if the fuses are good, now you need to test parts. there is a blower motor speed control aka blower resistor that frequently fails on most cars. It is the part that carries the current for all speeds of the blower and regulates speed when commanded. It has to absorb the excess energy to lower speeds and it tends to get very hot and burn out as a result. If it has failed, there will be power IN on one of its wires, and no power OUT on any others. If you have no multimeter or testlight to check things like this, Id recommend taking it to a certified mechanic. If the control lamps all work that means controls have power, if the blower resistor has no power, fuses or blower relay are the most likely cause. if the blower resistor has power but still no fan, most likely your fan has failed. as a general rule, I replace fans and blower resistors as pairs. fans tend to last longer, but they also get more demanding with age (kinda like people) and that extra demand will burn out the newer resistor much faster than when the fan was newer. it can be alot of time and money to change a blower TWICE, so to be sure it wont fail again, test current, or simply replace the blower fan if it is determined a resistor has failed. (a good fan in theory shouldnt draw enough amperage to burn out a good resistor, EVER, so if the resistor burns, the fan is typically drawing too much power, and even though it works "fine", it will burn the next resistor in a short time as well.).

This is most likely an issue with your vapor evap system. As it gets worse you may also get jerking in the driveline from insufficient fuel flow which will damage the transmission, and you may hear the gas tank pop. I recommend getting it fixed by a mechanic, but if you can't and the gas tank is popping, you can get by for awhile by cutting the O-ring off of your gas cap, it's ghetto but i ran my Sable like that for over 3 months.
