Power steering leak at pump

These pumps are known to blown out the front shaft seal. But your problem is at the high pressure line. Remove the line and buy a new teflon seal or o-ring. Don't over-tighten!! The torque specs on these are pretty low and most people overtighten and crack the seal.

2006 buick lacrosse how to replace headlight low

The bright light fitting is the same as the dim so take it apart fist to see how the cover screws off/on and the light comes out. Both the cover and the bulb are removed by a standard twist to the counterclockwise and replaced by a twist to the clockwise. Now to the dim light. You have to release the entire light assembly before you can remove the screw-on cover to reach the light. On the rear edge of the light unit closest to the engine is a white locking tab. Pull that tab up just to the point where it releases…pull too far and it locks again. Next, locate the other locking bracket which is a metal bracket in the center-rear of the light assembly. This bracket is held down by a screw. Remove the screw with a 10mm wrench. Lift the bracket just like you did the white bracket. You should now be able to pull (or pry) the entire light unit forward a little. Depending on the size of your hands this might be enough. If not, then you need to release the plastic bumper assembly to give you a little more space. This is done by removing two expansion locking pins, one that holds the little plastic strip down between the bright and dim lights and one that is located inside a rubber bumper on the engine side of the light unit. To remove these locking pins, pull or pry up the little tab in the center of the pin just like you were pulling a nail by the head. That should give you a little more space.

2005 Buick LaCrosse. Traction Control occasionally engages when the car is backing up. Either flat surface or on an incline.

One or more of the wheel speed sensors is giving a false signal to the control module for the ABS/Traction control system. To determine which one is the cause a scanner like the GM TECH2 must be connected during the event and then the errant sensor can be identified easily, of course in most cases this means a trip to the dealer.

87 Octane Regular unleaded, no high octane as it may cause cold starting issues and is a total 100% waste of money. Also all fuel is really the same, no matter the cost of the brand. This is mandated by federal emission laws, it is so called clean burning fuel formulation

On 2005 Buick LaCrosse Cx do I have to remove the wheel to take off original hubcap?

Depends on the particular wheel option on the car but yes many factory hub caps are held on by either the wheel lug nuts or by screw on caps that thread onto the wheel stud like a lugnut. This keeps them from falling off or being easily stolen.

2005 Lacross blower motor question.it has been intermittently working.if i hit the pass. side dash it will come on.now it won't come on at all.

Does your Buick have manual or automatic HVAC system ? It's not a relay , probably the motor ! But testing is the only way to know for sure ! Videos on youtube showing how to troubleshoot . Do you know how to do basic automotive electrical testing ? Videos on youtube on that subject as well . Disconnect wire connector at the blower motor , an jump the blower motor directly . If you have hit it to get to work , the blower motor is bad !
