WHAT WOULD MAKE MY CAR ENGINE WANT TO RACE FORWARD

A few possibilities:
  1. Defective throttle position sensor (TPS);
  2. Bad idle bypass circuit or idle circuit solenoid;
  3. Cracked intake manifold, throttle body assembly, or bad throttle body gasket (most likely);
  4. Serious vacuum leak somewhere.

Buick lesabre wont go over 20 miles an hour

There is a problem associated with the transmission on lesabres due to them using a plastic piece that has a tendency to snap on the transmission. I would suggest you have a transmission mechanic take a look at it to see if that may be what is keeping the car from shifting to higher speeds.

2002 buick lasabre air blend door replacement

You should talk with a automotive A/C expert--(offer to pay him $50 cash for his advice). The folks who service/repair A/C systems on older cars MAY have a 'secret way' to accomplish the job without having to remove the evaporator case. However, some cars are not so easy. You MAY have to take out the entire dash board assembly to get to the heater/air blend ducting. Good Luck

How do I release a stuck parking brake on a 02 Le Sabre

Verify that the foot pedal has returned to its off position. Lube with WD-40 all connection areas of the parking brake cable especially where it enters cable shielding. Remove rear tires, beat all around outside of brake drums to release brake springs. Remove drums, clean all spring assemblies with brake cleaner and free parking brake cable assembly with spray lube then coat with fresh grease. Replace hubs, check for proper operation, if so re install wheels.

How to fix a buckled dashboard panel

a dash board is made from preformed high density foam so unless the part you are concernered about is replaceable seperate to the entire dash board i think you will find it vey difficult to get it straightened, the only way is to remove the bashboard and see if there is a way to reinforce in the area of the distortion but this is a huge amount of work ,there are some repairers that work with plastic panels they might have a better idea so i'd look up a local body work repairer for an opinion , it's difficult to give accurate advice on this sort of issue without seeing the vehicle , keep me posted if you wish

Air conditioner not cooling properly

there is a thermostat connected to the evaporator under the dash which controls the ac compressor when the cabin temperature reaches the setting . This thermostat can be affected by dirty cooling fins on the evaporator which causes icing of the evaporator and upsets the settings as it will switch off prematurely because of the ice leaving the cabin temperature hot.. I suggest that you have an accredited ac shop look at the problem as it may also be a blocked TX valve in the evaporator.

Reset service engine soon light

To reset it, go to Autozone or Oreillys. They can tell you exactly what the code is triggering it. Usually on my car its a O2 sensor. Also, could be your gas cap not being on properly or an aftermarket gas cap. Messes the computer up. They can also reset the light, but if the problem does not get fixed, it will come back on in a day or two.

Buick air pump suspension

Try looking under the hood. The pump may be located near the air filter box or by the fire wall. One way to also locate it is to have someone sit in the car with doors closed to simulate a load and listen for pump to come on, then follow sound til located. But usually they are located under the hood so the pump can get air to help cool it.
