How can i get the radio code for my 1995 bmw 525i

You need to pull the radio far enough out of the dash so you can read the serial number. The radio may be held in by two special 5-sided cup head screws beneath little doors in the radio face. If so, you can buy that tool on line, or you may get lucky and be able to loosen the screws with some other sharp tool.
If your dealer wants money to look up the serial number and get the code for you, try another dealer. I got my code for free from Niello BMW in Sacramento. (great dealer)

Steering tilt message when car

Sounds like the collapsable steering column triggered and is shorting out ignition switch. That my friend needs to be addressed by a dealer. You're also looking at a really dangerous situation if air bag goes off while your driving.

We have a 1995 BMW 525i. I need to replace some

My bmw dealer said that the Mass Air Flow Sensor needed to be replaced. The car would not run. It will start, idle. upon excelleration it chokes and dies. The "check engine" light is on. I disconnected the MAS and the car runs fantastic. SOOOO, I ordered a MAS and installed it. Reconnected the unit and the same problem occured. Is there a fuse relay under the hood or back seat that I can replace?
Thanks

Check coolint level keeps comming

First off, I am assuming that you have checked to make sure you have the proper amount of coolant in the vehicle. If you do not that will cause the engine to overheat, and also when an engine over heats it will cause it to stop the heater from throwing out heat. IF you have checked to make sure that there is a proper amount of coolant in the engine I would then have the car checked to make sure that the water pump is working properly.

1995 BMW 525I over heating issue. I repaired head

Hi, Sounds like you have tried about everything. Ok the aux. coolant switch is for the electric pump for the heater core will not cause an over heating condition just a longer warm up of the heater core. Has the cooling system been bleed properly if there is a trapped air pocket it will not let coolant circulate. Was the new thermostat installed correctly? They have a vent that needs to be towards the top or they trap air on the back side and cant take an accurate reading to open and close. Other areas to look at would be proper operation of the fan clutch, if they fail they can cause the fan to not lock up properly and supply enough air movement through the radiator. The aux. electric fans and their temp switches do you hear them coming on are they coming on at the right temp.
