HOW DO YOU PURGE OR RELEASE AIR ONCE YOU REPLACE RADIATOR, WATER PUMP AND THERMOSTAT?
the thermostat (on bmw replacement parts) have an arrow that has to be installed facing upward.if this was done correctly,to bleed the system usually there is a bleeder screw on or near the expansion tank(where you fill the coolant) and possibly on the thermostat housing. i would recommend opening both bleeders and keep filling the system with coolant closing the lower bleeder first and then allow the rest of the air purge from the other bleeder screw.make sure the coolant stays full and be patient you can't wait TOO long.
My problem is code for
You dont have one? I called my dealer for one, and all they need was me to come to their parts department, and produce the S/N of the radio (which is imprinted on a tag on the back of the radio). I have yet to do it, but they didnt seem to have an issue with my question.
Remote not working after changing
Yea, these keys are too expensive. My BMW dealer wanted to charge the full mechanic rate to t/s my key. A new one is near $150. You can also go to a local auto parts store that starts with "Auto..." they have a key transmitter checker. It lights up if it receives a signal from your key. If it is at least transmitting, perhaps your BMW dealer will be nice and reprogram it. That is, if they can do it! Good Luck.
I have a 95 530i. While driving the radio stopped
You lost power to the radio. When that happens, the radio locks itself out. Check your manual for something that looks like a numeric code. Enter this with your number keys, and this will recover your radio to working order.
When i push the brake
I had this on my 1995 540i. It was brake rotors. I replaced them, and all was well! Oh, I also changed brake pads, which you always want to do when you change rotors. Warped rotors is caused by overheating during braking. I have also heard it can be caused by a tire shop using an air impact and seriously overtorquing your lug-nuts. So, if you just changed tires, you might check break-away torque, and return to mark and see what kind of torque they put on them. You might have some recourse if you get them to admit they used one. Good Luck
BMW 525 PETROL 2008 BATTERY
Hi,
You have to go the nearest battery dealer and have your battery check for a load test to find out if it is still okay and they would check also your voltage output from the alternator.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

My engine dn't start in
Possible that the car needs a basic 15 point check up to confirm the status of the fuel and ffiring settings. Check teh fuel quality, check the fuel pump, the fuel filters, the firing timing and intensity.
check HT coils and plugs.
My bmw 5252i has been
Sometimes the thermostat will stick closed. causing rapid overheating. Did you flush the system? The passages in the block, head and/or radiator
themselves could be blocked, first start out by changing the thermostat, then flush out system with a good flush of system. if water pump is ok, and there is no leaks, and the coolant is up to par. then it should be ok. have a good one ! if you are loosing coolant then check for a bad head gasket or a leak in system.
Car ran out of gas,
Fuel into the carb can lead to a big boom. I would have thought it was fuel injected anyway. If it is fuel injected it can be a pain to get the air out of the system.
In the past I have on the occasion of running out of gas and being stuck with a no start afterwards.....
Take cover off of air filter, usually mounted on passenger or driver side wheel well area (Follow the large tube from the center of the engine until you get to the box). Starting fluid is safer to spray into air tube then try starting.
If in a pinch though, once you can see the air filter pour a small amount of gas onto the air filter itself, close air filter cover and crank it up. The gas vapors will start the car but not put a flamable liquid too near the engine and sensor; you may have to do it a few times as it works the air out of the fuel system.
