it is the window regulator your motor is ok this is a very common thing onBMW

is this an X5? is so most likely it is the contact points on the bulb itself take a flash light and look inside the tail light assembly at all the contact points of the affected bulbs

there are 2 of these bolts and they run vert through the bumber itself the bottom part of the plastic my be hiding it a little bit lay on your back looking up at the bumper you should see it

the seats likely fold forward and will your husband adopt ?

should have a fuse and more then likely a relay. i would replace the relay as that is the most likely cause.

Probably the pollen filters as well, brake fluid and anti freeze. If this is your last free service with the dealer it pays to ask them if you can check the service schedule list for your car.

You have a loose connection probably at the alternator that's usually the issue. You might have to trace the wire it runs to the DME.

I am not familiar with this model but have experienced a similar nightmare on a very model. I suspect that the child safety locks are set which is stopping you opening the doors from the inside and the outside handles are not working because the latches may have been set in the locked position.

Possible switch gear unit has malfunction. Need to get it scanned to fully check this out. Don't just replace parts on a guess.... Very expensive and will cause issues when you take it to a professional

Pull the out and test to make sure they are getting power.

The lift arms need replacing.
