Mitsubishi Fuso 520538-4 Component 'DEF heating element' has a short circuit to ground.
The error code 520538-4 indicating a short circuit to ground in the DEF heating element is a serious issue and can affect the performance of the vehicle. The DEF system is critical for the vehicle to meet emission standards and should be addressed as soon as possible.
Since you have already replaced all of the DEF system components and even the ECU and the problem still persists, there are a few other things that you can check:
- Wiring harness: Check the wiring harness that connects the DEF heating element to the rest of the vehicle's electrical system for any damage or loose connections.
- DEF Pump: The DEF pump may have a failure that causes the DEF not to flow properly.
- DEF Dosing Unit: Check the DEF dosing unit for any clogs or damage.
- DEF Quality: Make sure that the DEF being used is of the correct quality and specification.
- Software update: Check with the dealer or the manufacturer if there is any software update available that can fix the issue.
It's highly recommended to have a professional technician diagnose and fix the problem as it's a critical emission component and might cause further issues if not addressed properly. The technician can use a diagnostic tool to check the system in more detail and locate the exact problem.
My car is Mitsubishi Pajero io 4g93 so it idles well but when I shift into drive the raise mileage drops below 1 and the engine loses power later engine check light appears.i need help please
The issue you're describing with your Mitsubishi Pajero IO 4g93 could be caused by a number of things. When you shift into drive, the engine loses power and the check engine light comes on, it suggests that there may be a problem with the vehicle's transmission or with the engine control system. Additionally, a low mileage reading could indicate a problem with the vehicle's mass air flow sensor, oxygen sensor, or other sensor that is responsible for measuring the engine's performance.
It's possible that the problem is caused by a malfunctioning sensor, such as the Throttle Position Sensor, that is not being picked up by the diagnostic tool. It's also possible that the problem could be caused by a malfunctioning transmission control module, a problem with the transmission's internal components, or a problem with the vehicle's exhaust system.
It's best to have a mechanic diagnose the issue to determine the cause and make any necessary repairs. The mechanic will have to connect the car to the OBD scanner to read the codes that the engine control module is storing and check the transmission's fluid level and condition, and check the vacuum hoses, or any other issues that could be causing the problem.

Mighty Max Mitsubishi it won't start and I have tried everything cuz someone help me please
I'm sorry to hear that your Mighty Max Mitsubishi is having difficulty starting. There are a number of potential issues that could be causing this problem, and it is important to diagnose the issue accurately in order to determine the most appropriate solution. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the battery to make sure it is charged and that the connections are clean and secure. A weak or poorly connected battery can prevent the vehicle from starting.
- Check the starter and starter solenoid to ensure that they are functioning properly. If the starter is not working, it can prevent the engine from turning over.
- Check the fuel system to make sure that there is fuel in the tank and that it is reaching the engine. A clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump can prevent the engine from starting.
- Check the ignition system to make sure that the spark plugs are functioning properly and that there is a strong spark.
If you have tried these steps and the vehicle still will not start, it may be necessary to have it inspected by a mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the necessary repairs.
I have a 2006 Mitsubishi eclipse GS 5 speed manual transmission
It is possible that the problem you are experiencing with your Mitsubishi Eclipse could be due to an issue with the transmission or the clutch. Without more information or the opportunity to diagnose the problem, it is difficult to say for sure what the cause might be. Some possible reasons for the symptoms you describe could include:
- A problem with the clutch hydraulic system, such as a leak or a failed component
- A problem with the shift linkage or shift cables
- A problem with the transmission itself, such as a damaged gear or a failed component
To accurately diagnose the problem, it is best to have a mechanic inspect the car and perform any necessary tests. They may need to check the condition of the clutch, the transmission, and any related components to determine the cause of the issue and recommend the appropriate repairs. Keep in mind that even if the clutch was recently replaced, it is still possible for it to fail again if it was not installed properly or if it was not the correct type for your car.
1997 mitsubishi starwagon been converted to lpg wont switch back to petrol
If your 1997 Mitsubishi Starwagon has been converted to run on LPG (liquid petroleum gas) and is having trouble switching back to petrol, there could be a few different issues at play. Here are a few things you could try:
- Check the LPG/petrol switch: Make sure that the switch is in the correct position for the fuel you want to use.
- Check the fuel lines: Make sure that the fuel lines for the petrol and LPG systems are not blocked or damaged.
- Check the fuel pump: The fuel pump may not be working properly, preventing the vehicle from switching to petrol.
- Check the fuel tank: Make sure that the petrol tank is not empty and that there are no blockages in the fuel lines leading to the engine.
If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it may be necessary to have the vehicle diagnosed by a mechanic. They will be able to identify the cause of the problem and recommend the necessary repairs.
