Basically you can use Dextron/ATF SPIII M but MMC recommends Diaqueen as it has been engineered for them and for warranty purposes as well.

When oil pressure fails it usually trashes he engine. ie bearings, piston walls ect. And it doesn't take a whole lot of drive or running the engine to do this. The mechanic should have said something to you. and should have checked this out when the engine was apart. This is one of the first things a mechanic should learn. It takes oil/lubricants to keep parts moving

Yes indeed, the water pump is driven by the timing belt on this vehicle and you would be well advised to change it and the idlers while you are at it. You can get timing belt kits for this vehicle that include the belt, 2 idlers and the water pump. In the UK, the kit is priced at about £70

Replace the flasher unit located on the interior fuse panel or connected to the wires just to the side of the panel. It is most likely about 1 inch in size and either a silver metal or yellow plastic or possible white plastic in color.

P0506 Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than Expected This DTC is more of an informational code, so if there are any other codes set, diagnose them first. If there are no other codes, inspect for vacuum leaks, restrictions, and damage. If there are no symptoms other than the DTC itself, just clear the code and see whether it returns.

Answer: First scan the PCM for trouble codes using a hand held engine scanner, Then repair codes by replacing failed sensor as needed. If no codes are present then what is happening is the electrical component inside the MAF sensor becomes contaminated by the impurities in the air. These containments imbed themselves to electrical component that senses the air flow causing the sensor to be slightly off, but not enough to trigger the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp). Replace the MAF sensor with a new sensor and you're problem should go away, plus your car get better mileage and performance. (Mass Air Flow MAF sensor or Air Intake Sensor AIS, depending on manufacture. It does the same thing with different names). I dont have the specifics on hand, but before replacement,(cause it is a little pricey) the MAF can be tested using a voltmeter. Tying into the signal wire, again, dont have specific color code on hand, but typically at idle signal should read .6 to .8 volts and when rpms climb the volts should climb to a max of 2.0 to 2.2 volts. Any reputable repair shop should be able to test this part if this explantion scares you. Hope this helps
