Real door key is inside key fob.. Push the Saab symbol to separate them.

When you replace the rocker cover gaskets, clean the surfaces where the gasket contacts the heads and the rocker cover with alcohol and a rag. Make sure there is absolutely no oil residue on either surface. Use a silicon sealer and spread it on the side of the gasket that will touch the head. Position it and use the head bolts temporarily as guide pins to hold the gasket in place until the sealant dries COMPLETELY. Remove the bolts. Now put more sealant on the surface of the rocker cover and install the cover on the gasket gently so as not to disturb the gasket. Install the cover bolts and tighten firmly but not so as to squeeze or deform the gasket. If dine correctly, the gasket will not leak.

could be the switch is defective ,check with meter replace if so or the wswitch is misadjusted realign that

Front wheel drive, front tires off the ground, Yes. All wheel drive, you have to pull the rear drive shaft. Rear wheel drive, you should pull the drive shaft. But you can pull it with the car in neutral.

Possible door lock actuator. Or you have a mechanical failure in the mechanism. Id remove door panel and inspect the mechanism but if you dont know what to look for, take to a reputable shop

LOOK INSIDE OWNERS MANUAL IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT.LOOK IN THE BACK INDEX FOR BULB REPLACEMENT.IT WILL SHOW AND TELL YOU HOW TO REPLACE BULB.BE SURE TO WEAR CLEAN LATEX GLOVES WHEN HANDLING HALOGEN HEAD LIGHT BULBS.BECAUSE OILS FROM FINGERS OR HANDS WILL CAUSE HALOGEN BULBS TO OVER HEAT AND BLOW OUT.

I am assuming you are referring to headlights due to the many people asking about Saab bulb changes.

Driver Side Headlight
1) Remove the battery cover to provide enough room to access the back of the light housing
2) Remove the two clips that hold down the windshield wash hose. (for more room)
3) Remove the rubber cover on the light housing
4) Disconnect wires, unclip the bulb, use a paper towel to install the new bulb with square marker on the bottom. Try to avoid any finger prints and touching the bulb.

Passenger Side Headlight (takes about twice the time as drivers side
1) Disconnect the air intake rubber hose and move it out of the way. To do this, two clamps need to be loosened. Remove the end over the radiator first, then the other end behind the light, comes off easily. You do not need to disconnect the sensor/filter. The hose is supported with an aluminum arm that can also be disconnected. (on installation, make sure to line up the slots on the filter/sensor to the hose)
2) Now there is clear access to the light housing. Very tight though.
3) See step 4 above
4)When re-assembling the hose, connect the end behind the light first then the end just above the rad (bit easier). There are slots on the hose that line up with the sensor/filter. Reconnnect the aluminum hose support (if you removed) and then you're finished.

hire a tow truck that uses wheel dollys that can be used under the drive wheels.

Most probably is a leak somewhere, the sensor in the reservoir picks up when the level is low as to prevent engine damage. I would get it checked out. when repairing the water leak they should automaticly replace the coolant so i would just top it up with normal tap water till then. be carefull the water can burn you, so only open the bottle once the car is cold.

How do I replace the left Xenon low beam bulb on my 2007 9-3 4dr 2.0 turbo SAAB?. The battery box , fuse box and windshield washer resivour practically a **** upto the back of the bulb area.
Do I have to remove the entire headlight assembly? if so will that ruin the auto light adjustment for the lowbeam.

I have the same problem and I have a 2004 93. I'm also having problems with my drivers door locks. THe control won't work but I can lock it from my fob. Any idea what will fix it?

the switch has failed in the "park" circuitry..need new switch, or clean it with electrical contact cleaner you'd find at radio shack. take the switch by the hand and work it back an forth to see if you can clean up the bad spot.
it a 50/50 shot that you might fix it...mines doing the same thing but i just have to wait about 5 minutes and then the finally go to the park position, but it goes very slowly..thats whats to be expected out of a 22 year old Classic.

Open the hood and you see the wide, black, flat plastic cover that goes all the way across just under where the windshield wiper blades are?

On the passenger side, remove the piece of rubber weatherstripping by gently pulling it out partly. Remove the black plastic screw at the passenger edge of the big black piece.
Gently pry the black foam up but hold the connecting side down with your other hand so you don't rip it off.

Lift up the big black plastic tray like piece. See the filter?

Remove the filter by lifting up the 2 clips at the top. Don't break it off. They are hinged at the top and swing up (just the opposite of the post office blue mail boxes which have the hinge below and swing open). Then take off the filter.

Wipe the area with a damp cloth to do general cleaning and then put a new filter in. Look at the arrow to fit the filter in the correct direction (it draws air forward and pulls it to the passenger compartment)

open the hood, reach in behind headlight. there will be a black or gray plastic ring. Unscrew the ring counter-clockwise and pull it back out of the way. Then take the bulb and socket, turn it counter-clockwise just a little bit and it will pull out and you can change the bulb.

after the car has been fixed (properly) the light should go out after 10 or 15 starts with the key
some can be reset by disconnecting the battery
others have to be taken to the dealer

I belive it would have to do it through the blue tooth menu on the phone but you will have to activate the vehicles system also which should be in the owners manual.I hope this helps you.
