Remote key fobs have a circuit board that, after several years use, can crack or dislodge connections. Our 2007 Saturn just had same issue. Hi, your description is somewhat brief. If you are operating all windows at the same time, they will be very sluggish due to the cold weather.

Park the car in a warm location, power all the windows down, lube all the window channels / runners with a SILICONE type of lube. Ensure that the lube coats the complete channel. Operate the windows a few times, they should be silent and activate well. The lube will prevent the window glass from sticking in the channel /track due to the cold.
