80.,000 mile service for 2007 Honda CRV
What ever you have done for decades with all your vehicles
I treat all vehicles the same for 50 years
I have my own schedule that far exceeds the useless manufacture
maintenance joke & exceeds the after market professional suggested preventative maintenance
Your close to timing belt change at 90,000 or 6 to 7 years
I would guess if you have to ask, you could work on it for a
week or two to get caught up
Spark Plugs-every 3 years
Brake Fluid -every 2 years
Trans & Power Steering-every 2 or 3 years (or their going to fail)
Not changing oil every 3 to 4,000 (motor problems for sure)
Could go on for 50 items
Common Sense-just keep working on them all year round
Brakes come apart once a year or sooner (or they have problems)
Have to road test with scan tool a couple times a year, to look at data
The useless manufacturer items your asking about, are in your owners manual
If all you do is wait on what is in the owners manual, you will
break down & ruin your vehicle
There never has been any mention of brake fluids, trans fluids
& the silly 100,000 mile spark plug nonsense, doesn't even
exist
The ignition modules or coils would be fried, if you went that long
People think the transmissions are sealed
There is not one sealed transmission out there
Wonder they they fail alot,no fluid changes &
too much TV nonsense & internet nonsense
about it & fuses & relays,those items don't fail
Honda-crv 2008, When to change the oil.
Honda say thats not true and to wait until the car tells you when to change it. I have a 2008 CRV and you should and can wait till the oil say 15%! We took ours in after a long road trip for our first oil change. We had over 5K and the oil said 65%. The guy said that we did not need to bring it in. We still had change it while it was their but the car goes around 8-9 K on a oil change. A little wrench will come on and the oil life % will come on when it reach15% and will come on every time you start the car till you get it changed.
Handbrake cable
