Parking Brake not working on 1998 Town Car
check to see if you have any brake pads left inside the drum, this can have happened because someone drove with the parking brake on, if everything is ok, then go ahead and adjust the wire
to the parking brake, you should start feeling it about 3 click. and in full half way down or so
No fuel to shrader valve
This would mean your pump has not pressurized the system. An Inertia sensor could have tripped or a Fuel pump relay failed.
Parking assist "disabled"
It's the park assist module, located in the rear deck, not from the truck, remove seats, carpet deck and it's on the left side of center. its a small black box with one screw
Master power window switch
There are Chilton books on every car I think ever made. I would check there, or ask your garage or dealership. Schematics don't usually come with the owner's manual.
Fuel injectors
Have you checked the inertia switch to make sure it was not tripped?
Wipers won't go home
Did the wipers stop in the up position? If so it may be a blown fuse or a defective wiper motor. Have you looked at the fuse-box? Did you mean that the wipers swipe the windshield correctly and then when the wipers shut off they stop in the wrong position. If this applies then inspect the wiper transmission. There could be worn/loose linkage between the wiper motor and the wiper arms. Also if the wiper motor was just installed. The clock position may be wrong. Please let me know if this information helps. If not please write back, leave more details, and I'll do my best, good luck.
The blend door actuator on
That must have been one FUN day to r & r actuator with dash in place. There is no relay that I know of and there is a fuse itself for ac/heat control and blower motor. If everything is being diverted correctly to defrost windshield, floor, split levels etc then the blend door is opening the appropriate vents and has done its job. Now since your not getting any cold air you need to open your hood, start your vehicle turn it on max cool and on high to check to see if your compressor is engaging and/or cycling on and off repeatedly indicating the refridgerant is excessively low or depleted and would need to be charged and then inspected for any leaks in system (I'd recommend adding a can of stop leak/dye to help distinguish location of leaks as well as to seal off any small leaks around seals). If compressor is not engaging try checking connection at back of motor to ensure you have a good connection as well as to visually inspect for any damage in connection and wiring, if that is ok test for voltage on wiring to ensure circuit is transfering power to motor, if not check fuse and or trace wiring for defect. If you have power going to motor but its not engaging it may be locked up and need to be replaced. hope this gets you squared away, if you have any further questions let me know and good luck to you
Disable alarm
Its not a wire. The anti-theft system is part of the engine computer.
If locking and unlocking the driver's door does not help, you'll need to get the system checked out. It could be the chip in the key, or several other components.
MY TRANS WONT SHIFT INTO THIRD GEAR UNTIL IM DOING 45 MPH
Most likely your shift cable (from the selector to the transmission) is worn, maybe needs lubrication. Mine had a similiar problem, but had to shift it into neutral and back up to get it in reverse. A new shift cable solved the problem.
