I believe this vehicle does not have a cabin air filter. There is only a mesh that prevents contaminants from entering the blower motor but it is part of the vehicle and isn't replaceable.

One of the simple ways is to disconnect the battery then turn the ignition on full to make sure there is no charge left behind then give it about half an hour then re connect the battery it should force a reset.

One release is under dash by the drivers left foot but the saftey latch is under the hood on the passanger side.Peek under and you should see it ( has a yellow lever ) move it to the trucks right..
