Change fuel filter on 2007 lincoln Mark LT
you will need to jack car up a bit to get under the car, locate the filter which is located near the fuel tank allow the floor of the car toward the side middle area, the filter will be held in by a bracket, some bolt on and some are spring held in which the filter pulls out of the bracket, take caution as fuel is under pressure and some will spray out, wear safty glassess and have a pan to caught small amount of gas. you will need a filter clip release tool to release the clips that lock line on the filter, you will slide tool in behind the fitting and push into line to release clip and then pull line off filter, this is done on both sides, then remove filter and install new one, to reconnect lines no tool needed they slide on and lock, make sure to slide in all the way to lock, to make sure pull line back to make sure it locked and doesnt slide off, this sounds like alot but its easy to do. good day.

Hello
This could be caused by any number of defective components, it could be a defective eject drive belt or a part is worn in the very complicated ejection and loading mechanism, as far as repair goes, Ford does not sell parts to the public, you must send the radio into a electronics repair center that is approved by Ford, contact your local Ford or Lincoln dealer for a location and phone number locally, if you have an extended warranty this is a covered part in almost all policies, consult your dealer for repair details.
Radio removal instructions
Locate the seam between the dashboard and the bezel that goes around the stereo. Use your hands to pull the bezel off of the dashboard at that seam to free the clips that hold it in place. Unplug any wiring to the bezel/trim plate and then remove it from the car
Unbolt the four bolts along the sides of the stereo using the 1/4-inch ratchet and socket.
Carefully pull the deck out of the dash with your hands, making sure not to pull it too far and catch the wiring. Reach around to the back of the deck and unplug the antenna lead and wiring. Remove the stereo from the car.

I have a fuel smell
If there is fuel smell in the morning there is a possibility that there is a minute leak in the gaskets or the fuel line pipes or in the gas tank that makes the volatile fuel gas into the chamber.
It will be good to look from the tank to the fuel pump, the fuel filter and to the distribution for any gas leak which might need a tightening or a change of gasket.
Your smelling senses is the right tool to probe.
