check for coolant leak if ok replace thermostat

Check coolant level. Fill if low this should solve problem

improvise ,you will find a way to open it ,pull or push the two plastic bars that operate the locking bits on the end

you are actually looking for the throttle position sensor.it should be on the throttle body on the opposite side for the accelerator cable.

If the sensor is dirty, it may malfunction. How old is the coolant? If there is a low drain, see if it is dirty.

possible head gasket failure

The switch for the turn signals and head lights are in the stearing colum this switch needs to be replaced its just going to get worse as time goes by.

should be on right side(drivers side) of plentum. Follow top radiator hose. Area is kind of hard to get to but is a real an easy change. After you change the thermostat then crank engine and bleed air using the bleed screws that are located in middle left of plentum.

check the oil level before you go any further

If the check engine light is on it will not pass inspection.

Check your alternator fusible link. This is not on the alternator itself, but usually close to the battery. This link usually supplies voltage to the interior fuse block. Sounds like the master switch (driver side door)

It is not the colour that is important but the chemicals in the anti freeze/anti boil that are important. Read the hand book for your car or contact the service department for what it is and use only that category of coolant.
