This is easy. Get a friend, you need a little help. grab hold of the bottom seat by slipping your hands in the crease. Lift it up. The seat will lift up towards you. There are some clips on the bottom. of the seat, slide the seat off the clips and take the seat out of the car. Most backs have bolts holding the back in place. 2008 Pontiac G5, 2.2 - 5 speed says cylinder 2 misfire after changing plugs, coil packs and fuel injector. P0302 DTC code.
Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from 'Speed Computers', to Pontiac G5.
The way to find which item is faulty is easy.
Clear the code
Move the plug from cylinder 2 and put it in cylinder 4. Run the car. Is the misfire still on 2 or has it moved to 4. Yes? the plug is faulty. No? Next test.
Clear the code
Move the coil pack from cylinder 2 and put it in cylinder 4. Run the car. Is the misfire still on 2 or has it moved to 4. Yes? the coil pack is faulty. No? Next test.
Same test for the injector.
If the misfire remains on 2 you need an auto-electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer which analyses every sensor and every module.

Transmission for pontiac g5
Your dealer is full of it and you should stop using that AH. Get yourself another dealer that is competent and worthy of your business. No car should operate the way yours is.
You appear to have either a fuel delivery problem or an erratic ignition causing the issue.

Car turns over freely and already changed the timing chain, what else could it be??
you say everything works on the road but it just won`t start, so I am guessing you have had it run okay after the timing chain was installed. there fore it could be an ignition or fuel supply problem when trying to start. check for both to see which it is. if you have anti-theft on the car it may have activated, there will be a red light on the dash flashing while trying to start.

Engine revs up and down while driving
How is it at idle? A fast idle might be the result of a vacuum leak. Is there a check engine light with a code? Did you clean the mass air flow sensor?

Dimmer switch delay
Try turning your key to the on position but do not start the motor. on your steering wheel press the page icon button and return arrow icon button at the same time and hold them both down for about 10 seconds. let go and you will see your information read oil reset. press the page button to cycle through all the options until you come to exit light delay. See if it's shut off there. And if so using the page icon button and the return arrow button on your steering wheel you should be able to set the time the lights stay on when you exit the car. If that don't fix this issue. There could be a relay or fuse that has gone bad. owners manual should give you the lay out of what fuse goes to what..or can find it on the internet also. Good luck and hope this helps
