Shifter stuck in park
Had this happen on 2 separate Ford Explorers. On one the problem was solved by simply pushing on the vehicle and rolling it about 8" until it locked into park. Had to do this a few times when stopped on level ground and the vehicle had not actually clicked into park. Then mysteriously the problem went away.
On the second vehicle the device in the steering column that actuates the little stop had to be replaced. We did go ahead and replace the brake pedal switch at the same time just as a precaution. On this Explorer the driver had broken the stop by forcing the shifter out of park. This caused the replacement to be slightly more difficult.

2004 lincoln navigator evap system leak
The P0456 is not your cause here. If there are no other codes present other than the P0456, try unplugging the mass air flow sensor and see if the sputtering goes away and if so, replace the mass air flow sensor. You could also have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump (low pressure)

Tracstablizercontrol & ABS lights are on 2006 navigator will not accelerate
These problems can cause by several different reasons,
Engine needs air-fuel and sparks to keep running.
Ignitions and fuel system inspections will be good place to start and if you have any engine warning light on your dash the best thing to get the code read out to get first idea what is causing the problems you have!!

I have to press unlock multipal time to work door
If your car is like mine, there's an option for the first press to unlock only the drivers door, then a second press to unlock the other doors. Check your owners manual to see if your car has something similar.

Will not defrost
Are the dash buttons working, making the connection to turn it on? Is the fuse burned out? You can check this out on youtube too. The troubleshooting back to the compressor, to make sure there are no shorts in the wires and then the compressor it's self? If you have a vehicle that is under warranty, your best course of action is to go back to the dealership.

2006 Lincoln Navigator hesitation problem
Why are you charged for someone to look at a vehicle?
Well-- they have decades of knowledge & training & about
$100,000 in tools & test equipment
Just like your doctor charges you $220.00 & the staff does most
of the work before the doctor comes in & no one questions those fees
On that vehicle & that 5.4 V8 motor you had to remove the odd two
piece spark plugs the day you brought it home form a dealer or they
freeze in the head & about 3 break off
There are a couple of tools for removing the plugs
They cost about $70.00 & are on amazon & all tool sites
That job you can do yourself for the price of the tool
Champion makes a one piece spark plug
Lots & lots & lots of info on the internet on that spark plug issue
All was avoidable if the plugs were replaced the first couple months
it was new
On to Oxygen Sensors--The front 2 only get replaced at 100,000
miles on ALL Vehicles
The COP Ignition Coils on a ford only last 6 to 7 years so their
done & most likely have been misfiring for years & RUINED the
Exhaust Converter
ALL you have been told is true, just not explained properly,or why
your not knowing what vehicles require in the way of Preventative
Maintenance actually caused the issues
As they say, you bought it, you drove it, & it is up to you to use the
internet before & during ownership to educate yourself
I've typed enough for now & will say the prices you were given
were just short of fraud & non sense
You can go to Rock Auto.com & look up the spark plugs (champion)
Wells Coils (8) & Walker Pipes & Converter if necessary & your
around $1000.00 in parts --normal wear & tear actually for an 8 year
old vehicle
The 2004 thru 2006 5.4 had injector leaking issues
Most on the 2005 model year those can ruin a converter
IF you PAID a shop once or twice a year to go WITH YOU &
your driving & they take along a scan tool to look at data you
can stay on top of how the motor runs & (again) avoid most
Problems

Flashing blue light
Is it like a light flashing at regular intervals or is it like a wire shorting irregularly? Check for loose connections or shorts.

Fuse box diagram 2006 lincoln towncar
Just do a Google search for the above term. There are some sites which have photos and a collage of diagrams to provide just what you want. Autozone also has a help section at the bottom of its' Webpage. You would register for free and toggle through the choices between free and pay sections.

Runs rough, shakes, low rpm's
There is a pressure test port for the fuel on the fuel rail. A fuel pressure gauge will be needed.
You did not include the Year of your vehicle. Some Years of production 2004-2008, I believe had engines with double overhead cams and an emblem showing DOHC on the top cover of the engine.
Parts called "Cam Phasers" were defective over time. Timing is controlled by these phasers and you can imagine how poorly an engine can run if each bank has a different timing mark from the other. You can read some Articles about this on the Web.
When you check your fuel pressure, there are a few possibilities. No fuel -check the Inertia switch. The crankshaft sensor can also affect fuel volume.
