SLOW SHIFTING FROM 4 LOCK TO 4 HIGH
You can operate the transfer switch either when the vehicle is stopped or while the vehicle is moving. I always operate the switch while stopped. Put the shift lever in neutral and step on the brake with the front wheels pointed straight forward. Now switch from 4H lock to 4H. If no immediate response, turn the steering wheel slightly back and forth and it should shift to 4H for you.
