Short circuits are never the same in nature of what is causing the short, so the best advice is to have a trained electrical tech look in to this.

I suggest flushing the system first, could simply be build up from leaving the cap loose, or whatnot. Refill it with a conditioning fluid, like Lucas power steering fluid. Let us know if further diagnosis is needed

If I remember correctly, the light comes out sideways from the from of the lens.

If there is no button ,you need to try to move the shifter nob to n and back a xouple times,also foot on brake,parking brake,and of course, put it in park. Duh

Hi Ron, I'm not familiar with your vehicle but I believe that the front and rear have separate pumps (but I may be wrong). If I'm right I doubt that both would go out at the same time. What's more likely is that a fuse has blown and power is not going to either pump. Check the fuses.Regards John
